ACT has launched a number of specialized courses which give weight-age to the Diploma in Pre and Primary Teachers Training Course. The specialized courses are Teaching English Grammar, Teaching English Phonetics, Teaching Classroom Management, Education Management and Administration, Classroom Material Development Program, Montessori, How to open a pre-school etc.

Grammar lays the foundation for any language and that needs to be taught to the children very carefully. The most important thing is that the teachers should teach the grammatical items effectively. Earlier teachers used to follow the conventional way to teach grammar where they used to begin grammar lesson with the definition followed by examples. The students had to memorize the rules or definition and they did not get any scope for application. In the 21st century the syllabus focuses more on practical aspect and has adopted the concept of contextualization.
